4. Template to access your personal data in the UK for double dip disputes with private parking operators
£3.50
This template is to access your personal data when you have been issued with a Parking Charge Notice (PCN) for double dip disputes.
A double dip dispute is when ANPR cameras incorrectly record your entry and exit from a car park.
ANPR cameras do not always record the first time a driver exits. If a driver visits for a second time within 24 hours, only the second exit is recorded. This gives the impression that the driver stayed longer than the maximum stay time.
This scenario, which results in a Parking Charge Notice (PCN) being issued, is known as ‘double dipping.’
These templates provide you with guidance, advice and specific wording for various private parking ticket disputes and scenarios.Â
